If you are unable to convert some documents, ensure first that you have installed the appropriate LibreOffice package. For example, if you want to convert a text document, you need libreoffice-writer. If you want to convert a spreadsheet, you need libreoffice-calc. On most installations, unoconv will pull "libreoffice" package that contains everything needed. However, this is only a suggestion and if you have configured your package system to not install suggestions, you need to install the appropriate modules by hand.
