next
Description copied from class:PyIterator
The exposed next method. Note that exposed derivable subclasses of PyIterator should override next to call doNext(custom___iternext__), as __iternext__ is overridden by the Derived classes.- Overrides:
next
in classPyIterator
- Returns:
- a PyObject result
-
__iter__
Description copied from class:PyObject
Return an iterator that is used to iterate the element of this sequence. From version 2.2, this method is the primary protocol for looping over sequences.If a PyObject subclass should support iteration based in the __finditem__() method, it must supply an implementation of __iter__() like this:
public PyObject __iter__() { return new PySequenceIter(this); }
When iterating over a python sequence from java code, it should be done with code like this:for (PyObject item : seq.asIterable()) { // Do something with item }
- Overrides:
__iter__
in classPyIterator
-
__del_builtin__
public void __del_builtin__()Description copied from interface:FinalizableBuiltin
FinalizableBuiltin.__del_builtin__()
is the built-in's own finalizer, whileFinalizablePyObjectDerived.__del_derived__()
refers to an instance's in-dict__del__
. A FinalizeTrigger callsFinalizablePyObjectDerived.__del_derived__()
first and - if existent -FinalizableBuiltin.__del_builtin__()
after that. A plainFinalizablePyObject.__del__()
would behave as overridden byFinalizablePyObjectDerived.__del_derived__()
, i.e. won't be called if the type implementsFinalizablePyObjectDerived
, whileFinalizableBuiltin.__del_builtin__()
is called in any case.- Specified by:
__del_builtin__
in interfaceFinalizableBuiltin
-
__iternext__
Description copied from class:PyObject
Return the next element of the sequence that this is an iterator for. Returns null when the end of the sequence is reached.- Specified by:
__iternext__
in classPyIterator
-
__iternext__

toString

traverse
Description copied from interface:Traverseproc
Traverses all directly containedPyObject
s. Like in CPython,arg
must be passed unmodified tovisit
as its second parameter. IfVisitproc.visit(PyObject, Object)
returns nonzero, this return value must be returned immediately by traverse.Visitproc.visit(PyObject, Object)
must not be called with anull
PyObject-argument.- Specified by:
traverse
in interfaceTraverseproc
- Overrides:
traverse
in classPyIterator
-
refersDirectlyTo
Description copied from interface:Traverseproc
Optional operation. Should only be implemented if it is more efficient than callingTraverseproc.traverse(Visitproc, Object)
with a visitproc that just watches out forob
. Must returnfalse
ifob
isnull
.- Specified by:
refersDirectlyTo
in interfaceTraverseproc
- Overrides:
refersDirectlyTo
in classPyIterator
